This podcast features the first part of a discussion I had with John Walker an occultist, poet and an independent scholar who spent 17 years immersed in the work of Rudolf Steiner. In this episode we begin our conversation by discussing the nature of science and Goethe’s alternative understanding of it. Goethe felt that the use of qualitative observation was just as important as quantitative and measurable observation to any true science. Goethe’s scientific work had a profound influence on the young Steiner.
