In this final section Dr. Morton talks about how romanticism brought with it the recognition that we are each unique beings with inherent individual value. The value of uniqueness gives us our sense of style. Morton goes on to explain how this sense of uniqueness when it spreads beyond humanity to nonhuman beings will create the foundation for a future ethics where we are able to tune into everything and learn to respond to everything in deep alignment with its unique essence.
